Its Romanesque Revival campanile bell tower is visible for miles and is one of the landmarks of Pasadena. The interior of the current church, built in 1927, was modeled after the Basilica of Santa Sabina in Rome.

Located in old town Pasadena, it is a Byzantine-style structure modeled after the Basilica of St. Sabina in Rome. Its sanctuary contains magnificent murals created by Italian painter Carlo Wostry; there are also impressive marble columns, stained glass windows and statues. The interior artwork took eight years to complete.
