The clean tones on the DD bridge model are marginal but on an amp with a lot of clean headroom or if you roll down the volume pot you can make it work. You wont do Jazz with it but you can cover popular music.

These have a serious mid spike. they're good in Strats for that point, a S/S/H. In a Les Paul I just feel like it's too much. The regular custom works better.
