Spending a night or two in one of the Bedouin camps in the Wadi Rum Desert is definitely an experience you don't want to miss while in Jordan! However, while organising my stay there, I had lots of questions that I didn't really find answers to until I actually set foot in the Wadi Rum.

The first one is Little Bridge. It's right at the beginning of the desert and it's perfect for beginners. Umm Fruth rock bridge is one of the most photogenic places in Wadi Rum. It juts out 15 meters off the floor and it's a bit farther away from the visitor center.

Some insights if you are planning to spend a night in the Wadi Rum desert. During the day, it is hot, but at night it gets chilly. Pack socks and anything else you need to survive a night in a tent at 10ยฐC (50ยฐF). The food was very good. Both dinner and breakfast were an all-you-can-eat buffet.
