Peanut Butter Dip is a perfect accompaniment to freshly cut fruit. Made with only 3 ingredients, it can be prepared in minutes. Snack time, in our house, usually consists of chopped veggies and/or fruit served alongside some form of protein or healthy fat. This might be a handful of nuts/seeds, some greek yoghurt, some nut butter or a delicious.

Holding the core of the apple, use a large chef's knife to slice off four sides of the apple, cutting as close to the core as possible. Take one of the quarters and place it flat side down on the cutting board. Then cut it into thin slices. Repeat with the remaining quarters!

Peel and chop a ripe avocado. Add juice from a fresh lime (about ½ cup). Add chopped cilantro and cumin. Place in a blender and process until smooth. Season with salt and pepper and serve. For avocado lime dressing add buttermilk or substitute with 'soured milk' if there's no buttermilk on hand.


Using a spoon, scoop the flesh of the avocados into a food processor or blender. Add the cilantro, lime juice, jalapeño, water, and salt. Directions. 1. In a blender, combine avocado, peanuts, olive oil, salt, pepper and lime juice. Pulse until smooth and homogenous, adding water to get the desired texture. 2. Toast bread slices then spread the avocado peanut sauce. Top with avocado slices and sprinkle with additional crushed peanuts, scallion and cilantro.
