Iveagh Gardens (pronounced "ivy") is a short walk from the more well-known St. Stephen's Green, and a bit quieter. It's wheelchair accessible and you can even bring your dog with you. There is a maze, a waterfall, some statues covered in plant life that make it feel like you're discovering ruins, and some beautiful fountains.

The Iveagh Gardens are one of Dublin City's least known parks and gardens. The gardens display a diverse collection of landscape features which include rustic grottos, sunken formal panels of lawn with fountain centre pieces, wilderness, woodlands, a yew maze, a rosarium, an American garden, archery grounds, rockeries and rooteries.

Iveagh Gardens. These beautiful gardens may not have the sculpted elegance of the other city parks, but they never get too crowded and the warden won't bark at you if you walk on the grass. They were designed by Ninian Niven in 1863 as the private grounds of Iveagh House and include a rustic grotto, a cascade, a fountain, a maze and a rosarium.

They are behind the National Concert Hall and one block south of St Stephens Green.
