Nature Reserve, walking trails, Wild Play Area, fantastic waterfalls and open countryside and a whole host of children's activities and events for all the family. Work began in 1881 and The Dam was completed in 1888. The lake took two years to fill and water was first supplied to Liverpool in 1891.
