Australia Zoo's new habitat for cheetahs has opened - fulfilling a dream of the late Steve Irwin. Supported through the Queensland Government's $15 million Tourism Experience Development Fund, the opening means that for the first time in the zoo's 53-year history visitors will be able to marvel at these charismatic cats with a permanent display.
