Zenit 12xp Light Meter Repair Hey guys, I own a Zenit 12xp film camera and i cannot make the light meter work. It fundamentally has 2 LED's that indicate if the frame is overexposed or underexposed.

After a examining the two cameras the Zenit seemed to be in a very good condition although it hadn't been used for more than a decade.. The light meter of the Zenit consists of just two leds, one showing over exposure and one underexposure.

This is a fully mechanical camera with a TTL CdS light meter. The meter works simply through two LED that we can see in the viewfinder, if the upper led is on it's too bright, if the lower led is on, it's too dark. The film sensitivity scale is measured in GOST, a soviet scale that's close to the ASA/ISO, but its not quite there.
