The Trail des Hauts Forts are all natural trail running races with a short 23km race, a medium 40km race and a long 51km race as well as a relay race. From Morzine at 1,000m, up to Avoriaz at 1,800m, the track crosses one of the most beautiful trails of the fabulous Portes du Soleil domain.

The Forts Trail is a cycle route that crosses the border into Germany as it follows the ring of defensive fortifications built around the city in the aftermath of the Franco-Prussian War of 1870. The signs for the 85 km trail are fairly easy to follow and take you past 19 forts.

Le trail des forts retrouve sa date printanière les 7 et 8 mai prochains. Inaugurés avec succès en 2021, les nouveaux parcours de 57, 30, 21 et 11 km restent inchangés en 2022. Ces tracés atypiques, mixant harmonieusement nature et patrimoine et permettant de découvrir les fortifications inscrites au patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco.

I will take you on a bike tour that covers parts of the trail (20-30 km as per your wishes) in both countries.
